Hello again, I wish you pleasant use, you probably won't find anything better than martysama when it comes to free stuff, anyway here we have mainline metin2 sources, clean and adapted to new versions of bsd and vs2022, Clean Versions! No new system added, and stuff!

To compile game/db/and the other lib
cd /Server_Source/Server
gmake all -j4



Database: MariaDB Server version: 10.11.9-MariaDB
Putty/Console just type mysql and you will be on database, on localhost no password required;
Navicat: user dev / password dev

Project compilation and structure
The QC server and sources have been adapted to be compiled using GCC 14 and the C++23 standard.

Source code can now be compiled in 32-bit mode on 64-bit servers.

Removed unnecessary libraries from the server project.

Fixed warning errors during server, QC and client compilation.

Fixed an issue with object files not being deleted by the command clean.

FoxFS compiler and archiver updated Dump prototo C++23 standard.

Shell scripts for starting, stopping, and cleaning have been refreshed.

Database
Updated to MariaDB 10.11.9.

Configuration refactoring after removal newer versions of MYSQL_OPT_RECONNECT.

Fixed a bug that caused the base to crash when opening channels.

Client_Source Changes
Updated DirectX to version 9.

Added Libjpeg-9f library to client project – compiled automatically.

Fixed display issues (eg gaps between level, rank and character name).

Client icon changed.

Changed package system to FoxFS: to edit just go to pack_data,save and after use create_byname.bat file to compile! you will find the .ipk archive in pack_output



Package files now have the extension .ipk



Package names are more readable.

The batch script and property generator were rewritten from scratch – the original source was missing.

Removed the requirement to have Python 2.7 for archiving packages.

Icons added to tools (Dump proto, FoxFS archiver, property generator).

Game Systems and Content
Number of channels increased to 4.

Updated skill system (both in database and pack files).

Removed file INDEXfrom packages - names are now taken directly from the client source code.



Fixed an error syserrwhen the client first logs in.
